Dave Shave - Rhythm Guitar
Peter Lyons - Bass
Ged Hawkins - Lead Guitar / Vocals
Marc Crumley - Drums
Rehearsed at XII Apostles Club, Westleigh and played their only gigs there Xmas/New Year 1977 & 1978.
Did mainly cover versions of Rock 'n' Rock standards.
The only original song I remember was Marc's 'All This And Heaven Too' - a complicated acoustic number.
When Leo left, Ged soon joined Mike Sweeny & The Motivators, and the band split.
Dave Replaced Terry McCorrmick in late 1977

Played gigs at Leigh College, and in Walsingham (Norfolk)!

If we'd have stayed together we might now have produced a CD or something and it might have looked like this, (but probably not !)

Paddy Peters - Vocals / Sax
Ste Critchley / Martin ? - Keyboards
Alec Santos - Percussion

There were at least 3 line-ups of this band.

Everyone sang but they kept turning Parrot's mic off, as he'd forget it was there and h’d sing when I shouldn’t and swear if he pressed wrong button on a synth.

Think there still going but only Paddy left out of orignal line up from 87.

I don't know if James & Co ever went in the Bridge, (perhaps they're a little too young), but they are the only famous band that I'm aware of with a Leigh connection (they met at Leigh & Wigan College, so that's a good enough reason to list them here).
Their first album Love Is Here hasn't been out of my CD player for about a month (May 2002).
